East Kilbride FC can confirm that defender Scott Stevenson has returned to Stirling Albion after completing a successful loan spell at the club.
Stevenson, 20, joined on a Development loan from the Beano’s in January and made 17 appearances for Kilby, including participation in the historic William Hill Scottish Cup matches against Lothian Thistle HV and Celtic.
EK Director of football Jim Mullin told ekfc.co.uk, “Scott has been recalled by Stirling Albion as part of the loan agreement. This is testament to how well he has done during his time at the club and a great example of how the loan system can be used to benefit all parties.”
Stirling Manager Stuart McLaren has followed Stevenson’s progress with interest, and will welcome the defender back for the last 6 weeks of the SPFL season. Mullin commented, ”It has been a pleasure having Scott at the club and he has conducted himself brilliantly on and off the field at all times. We wish him all the very best ."
Everyone at East Kilbride would like to thank Scott for his service and contribution to the club, wishing him well for the future.
