Our final pre-season match takes place on Saturday 21st July, when we welcome old friends Lothian Thistle Hutchison Vale to K-Park, ahead of next Saturday's Lowland League curtain-raiser at home to Selkirk.
Kick-off for the friendly match is 3pm, admission is £6 for adults and £3 concession, cash only payments at turnstile. (season tickets are not valid for his match)
EK go into the match on the back on a 1-0 defeat to a strong Kilmarnock side, which included former Rangers and Scotland star striker Kris Boyd, in what was a very credible showing (picture below)
East of Scotland League high-fliers Lothian were agonisingly pipped for the EoS League title and a play-off for Lowland League promotion in May, but are widely tipped to make it into the Lowland League sooner rather than later.
The club's famously met in Round 4 of the Willian Hill Scottish Cup in 2016, with EK's 2-0 win setting up at 5th Round tie against Celtic.
The last meeting of the teams was in April, when Kilby ran out 4-1 winners in the final of the East of Scotland Qualifying Cup, in a contest which was closer than the final-score suggests, with Declan Hughes, Sean Winter (2) and Ross McNeil on target for EK. Match highlights from that game can be found via the link below to our EKFCtv channel.
