East Kilbride FC is pleased to announce that Martin Lauchlan has agreed to become the new first team Manager of the club, with immediate effect.
The former Rossvale Juniors manager will succeed Billy Ogilvie, and will be joined by Assistant Manager, Carlo Girasoli.
Martin, 35, enjoyed a successful playing career, making over 100 senior appearances that included successful spells with Partick Thistle, St Johnstone and Stenhousemuir, before taking over at Rossvale in the summer of 2014, and leading them to a Central District 2nd Division League title in 2015.
East Kilbride FC Chairman Mark Horner told ekfc.co.uk, “We are delighted to have Martin on board and are very excited by the plans he has to take the team forward.
By getting Martin and his staff in place now, we have the opportunity to plan properly for next season, and to get the correct structure in place to move forward. “
The new management team will take charge of the team for Wednesday’s Lowland League fixture against Whitehill Welfare at K-Park.
