East Kilbride FC - 4

Civil Service Strollers - 0

East Kilbride FC moved 16-points ahead at the top of the Lowland League, with a comprehensive 4-goal defeat of Civil Service Strollers, making it 30 wins in a row.

Joao Victoria put Kilby ahead from the penalty spot on the half hour, after Craig Howie was pushed in the box.

Ross McNeil twice came close to doubling the lead, but was denied and half-time arrived with the score 1-0.

A dominant second half from the home side saw the inevitable second arrive just after the hour, when Victoria and Strachan combined to set up substitute Sean Winter, who smashed home from 8-yards.

Now well in control, Kilby made it 3-0 moments later, when Scott Stevenson reacted first after a Strachan corner, to claim a memorable first goal for the club.

Talisman Victoria then had the final say in stoppage time with a fine angled finish.

EK will now travel to Spartans on Saturday, in what will be the half-way stage of this season's Lowland League.
