Threave Rovers 3 - 4 East Kilbride FC
East Kilbride FC produced an incredible comeback to end their Lowland League campaign on a high, fighting back from 3-0 down at half-time to stun Threave Rovers.
A first half to forget for Martin Lachlan and his team saw Threave race into a 3-goal lead, before substitute Liam Gormley gave EK hope with a fine strike on 65 minutes.
Despite much huffing and puffing, it appeared not to be Kilby's night, but the unlikely became more real in the 84th minute when Jack Smith converted from the spot, after Anton Brady was pulled down.
Taking heart from this, EK hunted the ball back from kick-off and won a wide free-kick which was delivered by BJ Coll, evading everyone and ending up in the net to make it 3-3.
And just when it seemed the spoils would be shared, Jack Smith found his second goal of the night in the third minute of stoppage time, heading a Kieran Coleman drive past the Threave keeper to seal an incredible 3-points.
