Further to our Club statement on 7th March, East Kilbride FC can confirm that first team Manager Billy Ogilvie has left the club.

During discussions in early March regarding next season, Billy informed the club that due to work commitments he would not be able to continue in post beyond the current season.  An agreement was then made that Billy and assistant manager Gardner Speirs would remain in place until after yesterday’s Football Nation East of Scotland Cup final against Spartans.

Over this and last season, Billy has been fully committed to helping the Club progress, and his efforts and enthusiasm have been outstanding.  Our memorable run to the last 16 of the 2015/16 William Hill Scottish Cup, where the team ultimately faced Celtic FC,  will live long in the memories of everyone involved at the club, and we would like to thank Billy for all of his efforts and positive contribution since joining East Kilbride FC in 2014.

The Cup victory over Spartans at Broxburn yesterday was a fitting way for Billy to end his tenure at the club, and everyone at East Kilbride FC wishes Billy and Gardner Speirs  the very best for the future.
